You need JavaScript enabled to view it MELISSA, TX - On Monday April 27th beginning at 8:00 AM, Melissa voters will begin the process of selecting a new mayor, a city councilman and decide the fate of liquor sales in Melissa.

Early voting hours for the upcoming week are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM till 5:00 PM, with the exception of Thursday evening, when the polls will stay open till 7:00 PM.

On the final two early voting days Monday May 4th and Tuesday May 5th, voting will be from 7:00 AM till 7:00 PM. On Election Day May 9th, voting will also begin at 7:00 AM and end at 7:00 PM.

The voting location in Melissa is at the little red school building, at the Home Office campus of Melissa ISD at 1904 Cooper, in the old downtown part of Melissa. Voters may also cast their early ballot at the Collin County Election Office in McKinney at 2010 Redbud, Suite 102, which is just south of Walmart.

On the evening of May 9th, The Melissa News website will post election results within minutes that are received from Collin County Election officials.
